sometimes i find the sweetest picture books. this one is a top on the list. leaf by stephen micheal king. a little boy has a bird drop a tiny seed on his head and learns to grow it and in turn with it. beautiful story but its the illustrations...the negative use of white space...adorable.

Our favorite book when my kids were small was The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear. I love your orange horse photo, too!!!
oh how sweet! I'm really enjoying the old world charm of Milly Molly Mandy currently.
