baby baby

am pretty tired. but still getting out for a coffee here and there,
baby care is a more than full time job and one that keeps me on my toes, knees, hands, and back! piper has acid reflux and is pretty grumpy unless we are carrying her or sitting upright- i feel so bad for her but we are learning to do EVERYTHING with a bub attached! any advice for a carrier you've adored?
that said she is a pretty groovy baby and is starting to smile at me a little, and that is all i need to reward me for my efforts!
my next post will be non baby, promise:)

Oh, she's so lovely - and small. My girls is 20 months now, and has grown a lot this summer... it's something magical about these tiny ones :)

That's pretty adorable. My next door neighbour is a mid-wife and also a mother to a two year old and she jokes about how babies learn to smile pretty quickly as a survival tactic to please their mums. :) I'm happy to hear that you are doing well though.

Oh, I'm with Katy - post as much as you want about baby - you're allowed!! And, she is utterly adorable. Love it when my babies started smiling too :)

re carriers: I used a hug-a-bub and a sling, miy sling was a maya-wrap, really strong, adjustable and natural fibre (you can find both of them from the hug-a-bub website.
Ergos also very good, although I still ahven't got one and my bub is 8months now!

Hope she gets over the reflux very soon - that can't be fun for either of you.

Oooh, I'm so excited for you Ashley - becoming a mama!
