this is a special concoction i make whenever i'm sick: chop up some ginger and garlic and boil them for a while. then add lemon, ceyenne (sp?) pepper, and a little honey. it does wonders for the throat and actually tastes good, surprisingly. feel better soon!

I was going to say a warm lemon and honey and ginger drink too x Also I swear by echinacea to perk me up when run down.
Hope you feel better soon.

oh you poor dear!

my quick fix involves going to the ocean and snorting sea water up my nose and gargling - yes - for real. I'm not sure how home made saltwater would go in the middle of the desert though - in fact i'd be loathe to try it myself, other than for gargling?.

i do hope you feel better soon, though, and you're probably better off taking the advice of your other comments!
