on my desk {kitchen table}

today was a much nicer day. i came home as soon as i could and have been listening to thom yorke and reading about photography. i found this book at a lions charity sale for 20c and it is really brilliant. i also found the mug {along with 5 more, a sugar bowl, and a coffee pot} for a small bill. i love pottery and earth tones so they were good as gold in my eyes. they are all sitting on a vintage linen tablecloth that i have brilliant plans for with a little help from lena corwin's beautiful book. can't wait to show it off.

i worked in my garden for a little while- i have some floppy, soppy tomato vines and am at a loss- all i can assume is that the 43 degree heat is the culprut...as am also feeling a bit floppy.

love to all you lovelies who continue to comment and make me smile {and love to those who don't too}

U did well in your shopping. I recall some pottery like that when I lived in England. Seems like it had a brand name.

was a wonderful day indeed ladies;)
jeero: i love that the weather is reflecting a ladies' mood- very true at times! in australia the summer is quickly approaching...but i agree with the strange weather, back in canada it is still warm and really shouldn't be!
maureen- if you recall the name please do let me know;)

I'm really looking forward to seeing your handiwork with the linen table cloth.

Love that Lena Corwin book! And lucky you for nabbing that photography book. I didn't realise it was 43 where you are. Must watch the news more.
