the farm

during the christmas holiday monsieur bisous and i went to visit his grandma on her farm. i loved the dusty treasures. especially the back of an old childrens chair with the happy face! i also adored watching her potter around and tell memories of her husband. she patiently tried to teach me better crochet and read aloud from her novel at night.
she told us she no longer has the energy to keep the garden beautiful...i beg to differ:)

hope all had a nice week-end, am feeling better but swamped with work....
off to finally have a cuppa and sink into my novel. x

I love that picture of the grapes hanging. My dad grows grapes and when I go visit them on the Island in the fall, I love picking them and stuffing my face with as many as I can during my short trip.

looks like a place full of interesting treasures and stories that you could explore all day.

hope you become less swamped soon.
