apple sauce
need:
~3 pounds fresh, crisp apples
~4 strips sweet lemon peel
~juice of 1 lemon
~3 pieces of decadent cinnamon bark
~1/4 cup each brown and white sugar
~1 cup fresh water
~ a pinch of salt
put all you needed in a big pot and bring to a boil, lower to simmer 30 minutes, take off heat, remove peel and bark, mash with a potato masher, eat hot or cold, feel blissful.x.
i just finished making a lovely batch to savour tonight with vanilla ice cream~ super yummy and a bonus is your house smells like a sweet cinnamon orchard

Hm, now I'm hungry! It's just a shame I can't make anything in the kitchen without serious kitchen destruction, and a very angry mother! :P I'm basically banned from most people's kitchens! haha.
Anyway, maybe I can have my mother or someone else make this recipe though! :D

mmmmm, I usually hate store bought apple sauce but this actually sounds really good, especially with the vanilla ice cream :)
