my lovely boyfriend left a little note for me yesterday on the snail succulent {see his little head poking out!} that made me smile. he always makes me smile {the boyfriend-not the snail- well, the snail does too...}.
just came back from a walk with pup- it is so hot on the desert road but bright and blue, so i can handle it. the community has been doing a lot of hunting for goannas lately, they burn them out and in turn help to control the growth and threats of bushfires. i love the regrowth- everything is so black and charred and then these green bushes are poking up. i also love rasta running through the bush!
for more desks look here. thanks to kootoyoo. x. am off to do just that with a cup of tea and the best chocolates around.

...how lucky to receive notes...not from the snail that is... that's funny!
I find it amazing that in your land/country; the soil is so red! Interesting indeed...
That note is so wonderful - and what a sweet place to leave it.
I didn't realize you lived in the desert, how beautiful.
oh - your prints look lovely :) i made a few stamps (from erasers!) this week, but haven't posted them yet. i am feeling all inspired about it again now though, maybe i will stop playing it safe and actually buy a piece of lino ...
sO sweet of your bf to leave a note..=>..the little doggy calico bed cover is very cute..

tea and chocolate together? i love them separately but not sure about together. maybe i'll have to give that a try.
the desert is so moving.
Great pics. I love how nature puts the perfect palette together. The silvery colour and muted tones of the shrubbery (all perfectly formed to be low and dense - goannas are hiding there, I just know it) against the red soil and blue sky. Too beaut. Where are you?
The lino prints look great. What will you do with them?
Awesome pics! I just found your blog and I love it!
What a lovely boyfriend you have :)
Your desert shots are lovely.
