this post is a bit of a mixture, a this is of what i do with my spare ten minutes, and a sunday picture post.
i spent some time this morning happy snapping outside. there are some very special things in our yard. i found a pile of lovely gumnuts. after cleaning them and soaking them {bye, bye little beetles}, i sat and painted a few.
i am leaning towards drilling them and making a natural mobile for over our bed. will post the finished product when {if} i get there.
most often, what i do with my spare 10 minutes is search for inspiration, on blogs, flickr, or in my own backyard {which is sometimes the best kind.} or sometimes i sit and drink tea in the garden- i think it's good to just STOP and breathe sometimes, even if it is just for 10 minutes.
hope this sunday has been a special one for everyone. i am soaking up every second of it.
xo.
p.s. thanks to hoppobumpo via handmaiden for this weeks this is theme.

Those gumnuts look beautiful - what a lovely idea. I can't wait to see the finished mobile.
And I like your idea of stopping and breathing for 10 minutes. It sounds very sensible!
I've never heard of a gumnut before, but they sure do look awesome painted. What a cool idea for a mobile! :)
They are too cute. I love all of these images, the red earth... and drinking tea in the garden. Sounds lovely.
